The main slogan of the "1+1" TV company is "1+1-you are not alone". So I think it was a cool idea with the human pixels. For me as a Ukrainian and a person obviously belonging to the target group of the commercial, it implies smth like "People around u are everything that should matter", or like "there is always a helping hand". Each small 15 seconds video usually opens or closes an advertisement block. Put all together at once they do sound kinda annoying.
