Propaganda. Solar, wind power, thermal heating, electric vehicles.
It is up to the individual person to take the initiative of converting to these forms of renewable energy. You just have to make an effort. Your grand children will thank you.

Even though I believe in man made warming of our planet, I agree with you. A system where we have to pay for the amount of carbon we emit will hit the poorest the worst, and will give the richest an upper hand in the carbon market.
Just look at globalization today. There is no real free market, everything from food to cloths are subsided by those who have enough money. If they go further and begin to trade carbon tax with each other then.......
Well then we have yet another tool to divide with.

this is so shocking. How must the orator feel now? This is such misinformation. Arsenic is naturally occurring, but I wouldn't eat it. CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere have DOUBLED since I worked in this research area. Climate change is WORSE than previously forecast, and large climate changes are inevitable. Catastropic changes are possible (e.g. hotter temps causing methane release from the sea)
Exxon obviously have an ulterior motive, and fund science to try & disprove climate change.
