This is what my Monster tower does when i tow the boat on the road or driving the boat on water. it feels like the tower is going to rip out of my boat any day now. ive tried replacing the bolts because the nylons do wear out and coated them with antiseize...putting locktite on the bolts would probably make them snap. i am hoping the people at monster tower can help me out. i have my fingers crossed

  • The final installation step requires 4 locking bolts through the rear fittings on the top of the back legs; this maximizes the lateral stiffness of the tower. Monster Towers are stiff and silent by design, if you have any movement check the tightness of the fasteners and installation procedures to make sure no steps were overlooked. If you have any questions at all please call Monster Tower at 877-778-6937 for assistance. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and 5 year warranty.

  • I just finished installing mine last night...... After installing mine, and seeing your video.... I would say yours was not installed right! If you follow the instructions to a T then you will have no sway! Also, it doesn't look like you drilled the 4 holes on the top of your tower like your supposed too, that is very important! I'd take it to a pro and have them fix it, cuz who ever installed it for you doesnt know what they are doing!

  • It looks like it needs everything tightened, I watched your video probably 6 times looking at it to see where the movement is originating from. It looks like your front posts are loose where they are mounted to the tower. This is why it is important to have a professional install your equipment before use. Also, your tower is not useless now, take it to any reputable welding shop and they can weld the aluminum back together! Also, always double check your heims to make sure they are tight!

  • Does it ever crack I mite get one

  • I have this exact same tower and exact same problem. Drive slowly with boat in tow. never noticed it while in the water.

  • Have you tried tightning the bolts? not just the ones that attach to the boat, but the other ones too?
