This bike may be my challenge! Here you'll see how to create a hybrid recumbent.

I must use the pedal power to charge batteries and to drive.
The combination with the generator, battery and the motors is only a replacement for the looooong chain.
Another advantage, the drive hasn't any dead-center position cause the batteries are buffering the power.

  • OOOOOO Its coming along nicely. I like It. and I'm a bit jealous. my creation is not coming along as smoothly. a few hiccups. I have to reform a fender I twisted the other day while on the way home from work. (damed road construction). There I was having a great time and a detour, a couple of dozen feet into It I had to go up on the aide walk and bang the the sound of my chain trying to cut through the side of the fender. Not sure how it happened yet but a few minutes with a maul and good to go.

  • you still keep your wife in the basement ?

  • @thedecagon Take a look into the industrial sector!

  • @ChrisLuxembourg thanks,,,i was inspire by your video...but i havent yet search the availability of PVC-U in here...i guess i have to search that first on the internet for more info.

  • @thedecagon The basic frame is steel because he must admit a lot of load, the cladding is aluminum. The material of the wind shield is 1mm PVC-U.

  • @ChrisLuxembourg i9 understand you have lots of knowledge than me in this kind of field,,,would you mind if i ask you a question?why did you use a metal rather than a aluminum chassis to make it more lighter?and what king of transparent materila did you use for the windshield the one that pass the impact test?
