Andy Kaufman and Bernadette Peters star in this 1981 Comedy that bombed at the box office. Judging by this trailer, it's not hard to see why. Very odd.

  • I'm a robot too!

  • We ran this movie at our small town theater years ago. I loved it. That's when I found out I was not like the average person!

  • OMG!!! THIS LOOKS LIKE A MOVIE I NEED TO SEE RIGHT NOW!!! WHERE DO I FIND IT!?!?!

  • I wonder exactly how all that makeup was done, it looks very good and complex. Clearly that's where a good deal of the money went, not for a writer....

  • whats a newspaper? I use fandango to check showtimez

  • Bernadette as a robot. . .alright. . .I might enjoy that.

  • Not too long after seeing this on here I added it to my Blockbuster Q (unless I had already switched to Netflix) and I could see why my Dad was so upset, but I still thought Crimebuster was cool.

  • My mom, uncle and Grandparents felt the same way when they sat through "Labyrinth" for me. ;-)

  • I think Andy Kaufman could've made it in movies. May sound strange, but whenever I see "Ghostbusters" or "What About Bob?" I can't help but think Andy would've been great in Bill Murray's roles in both of those movies.

Granted Murray would've been out of a job two times, but... heheeeeeee....

Andy would've been great as Venkman or Bob. Watch those movies and really try to envision it. It's true!

    :-)

  • While the score *does* use a lot of electronic textures, there are plenty of GORGEOUS orchestral sections in Williams' classic 80's "Blockbuster" style. Varese Sarabande is finally running out of their limited CD release (250 copies and dwindling), so Williams fans should grab it posthaste.

  • It's on right now on Cinemax West. And it beats watching the Pirates of the Caribbean marathon. And because this movie bombed at the box office Kaufman never got to make his Tony Clifton movie.
