Let's Play World of Warcraft - Part 68 - The Trees Have Keys

Part 68 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, World of Warcraft, by Blizzard Entertainment.

In this episode we head into a Satyr-infested area within the Ashenvale Forest known as 'Night Run', where we slay Satyrs in order to collect Fallen Moonstones as a regeant for a cure to help the sick daughter laid up in Astranaar. Once we're done we head north towards the zone of Felwood, finding our way to The Howling Vale where we need to collect a key from the nearby treants in order to open a chest that contains the Iron Shaft component of Dartol's Rod..

@seanzorge1 yeh! although i must say after spending a lot of time tweaking it over the holidays, it's actually behaving itself at the moment =)

Btw, you often mention the music, but we (I guess it won't be just my case) almost cannot hear it. If I increased the volume, your voice and other sound effects would be too loud.

I sometimes notice your spell doing incredible damage, like for example at 3:12 the arcane blast doing 472 damage. That's a random critical strike I presume. How exactly does it work, is it twice the normal damage?

@TomKQT yup a base crit in WoW is 100% extra damage (so twice the normal rated dmg amount) but you can also increase the amount of dmg done on a crit with various items, gear and talents =)
