Had this amp but sold it, sounds like cock and balls for anythin other than the Slash sound. Dont get me wrong, it does sound awesome for that but for anythin else its pants :)

Exactly, its so unversatile it sucks, but if you love slashtone, them well thats whats design for, nothing else at all.

Not really" If you want TRUE versatility in an amp then check out the Rivera Knucklhead Tre Head. That amp is indeed Totally Amazing". The tone controls have more wider frequency range than any other amp(except maybe a rackmount Pre) and you can Nail an very convincing dead on Fender-marshall tone(s) and also Rivera"s own Distinctive Raw ball Crushing tones as well".and the clean is the most beautifull you will ever find in any amp PERIOD!.. Check it out!..Good Stuff!

@eveguitars actually slash's tone is pure marshall!!! there's no amp that you can play all kind of tone. I learned that after having a mesa boogie road king. If you want a marshall sound get a marshall, if you want a clean sound get a fender, if you want a modern high gain, get a mesa.

@eveguitars u cant get any sort of classic rock tone out of that? just turn the gain down no? its based of a 70s marshall design so id think you'd be able to do a bit more with it?
