"Grabbag" by Lee Jackson
Converted and optimized for Yamaha XG format using XGEdit 95 by Rich ¥Weeds¥ Nagel.
This is how "Grabbag" *SHOULD/COULD* sound on all Yamaha XG compatable MIDI hardware (e.g. DB50XG, MU50, S-YXG50)! By the way, *this* is how the same song sounds *without* the Yamaha XG conversion and optimization: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzU1EH3u0X0 .
...Any chance of uploading some of the other MIDIs like this?
I mean...holy shit...

@GreatFox42,
Glad you liked it :) The only other few things (from PC games) that I've Yamaha XG"-ified" can be found if you go to my main YouTube channel.
Search for "Transport Tycoon "Goss Groove" Music (Yamaha XG Format)", "DOOM Episode 1 Map 1 "Hangar" Music (Yamaha XG Format)", and "Eternal DOOM Music - "DOOMin': Live!" (Yamaha XG Format)" :)

@RFNagel I was asking if some of the other Duke MIDIs, like Stalker for instance, or Gotham, if those could be Yamaha'd.

@GreatFox42,
Ahhh, I se what you're saying now. No, I haven't Yamaha'd any of the other Duke Nukem 3D tunes, only that one.
Honestly though, I'm not sure if it would sound all that great. Those tunes have a lot of synthy type patches in them. Yamaha XG hardware (as well as the S-YXG50 softsynth) really shines with it's overdriven/distortion effects when used with the pop and rock instruments, but the other instruments are fairly weak IMHO.

@TheTBDProductions,
Glad you liked it! :)
Surf here for the MP3 version -> [w][w][w][dot]cmoo[dot]com[forwardslash]snor[forwardslash]weeds[forwardslash]Yamaha_XG[forwardslash] :) . Note that there are a few other XG conversions in MP3 format there as well :)
Sorry about all of the "[]", YouTube wouldn't allow me to post a link within my reply!
