  • hi there, so first drain the battery go to recovery swipe battery stats Charge the phone on OFF condition to 100% Use it as your daily usage When the battery is <=10% charge it while the Phone is running (and 3g is on) Use it as your daily usage When the battery is <=10% charge it while the Phone is running (and 3g is on) Use it as your daily usage When the battery is <=10% charge it while the Phone is running (and 3g is on) right??
  • @JinggaBlitz Hmm, looks like you have 1 too many discharges in your description, but it would still do the trick, yes.

  • why you need to drain the battery all the way first before charging and deleting the battery file in the root folder?

you're deleting the stats anyway right?

  • @filmpje101 That's part of the battery conditioning.

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet so would getting an app like battery calibration or battery left be bad for your phone? if its good for it, at what point should i start using the app? thanks!

  • @austin840052 I don't know what these apps do I'm afraid, but I doubt an app can calibrate a battery? It might just help do what this video explains.

The battery is wearing out. The only real way to get substantial battery improvements would be to buy another battery from the manufacturer. You can go ahead and try this, it doesn't damage anything physical. It just recalibrates the software android uses to display battery life so that it shows a more accurate number instead of shutting off when you still have 30% of your battery life remaining.

  • Can I do this trick with my Samsung i5500 if I bought it 4 days ago? I mean.. the phone is new and the battery was very weak these days, I recharged about 4 times (I also used the phone for internet every day) and it never goes to 100% (it stays at 99%) with the charger plugged-in for 2-3 hours... I also formatted the battery the first time (after it was drained to 1-3%) for 12 hours. Please give me an advice! Thank you :)

I heard that the battery must be recharged 7-10times to get to normal...

  • Going a bit off-topic here. I see you're using Beautiful Widgets (or at least that's what that homescreen clock widget looks like to me). Could you tell me the skin name...?

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet I have my phone for about 7 months and the battery drains faster than before, would calibration damage the battery even more?

  • Thank you much! My old Htc Tattoo running Cyanogenmod7 now has a decent battery life, instead of only lasting about 5 to 6 hours.

  • does anyone know if this works for any android cus im trying to do it for my g2x
