For me it doesn't look like the devil are symbol of freedom. I got the impression of something bad. Doing crazy ritual and sick stuff. The worst is the look. Wearing black, Pale skin, flimsy body. When I walk by a "Devil-whorsiper" they do not look very optemistic, they actually look like they are waiting for the earth to go down.
