    Yes that as well as the circling of the altar. In more traditional Serbian weddings the gift giving process and both bride and groom having to take drinks from the same bottle are very traditionally Hebrew - but this is more Ashkenazi Hebrew which means that both the Hebrew wedding traditions and the Serbian traditions influenced each other. It's very cool.

    I find that very interesting. I'm a Serbian girl very into Judaism and jewish traditions, so I've noticed the candle-part too is very similar. :)
