143,000,000 Orphans in the world today spend an average of 10 years in an orphanage or foster home !!! "Nobody's Child" is a song written by Cy Coben and Mel Foree. First recorded by Hank Snow in 1949, it was covered by Tony Sheridan and The Beatles, recorded at a time when the Beatles were performing in Hamburg, Germany in 1961.[1] George Harrison played lead guitar on this version in 1961. Years later, in 1990, he played on another version performed by his then super-group band the Traveling Wilburys.
Recorded with a laptop and played with a YAMAHA PSR-S555 synthesizer

  • @FolkAndMore Thanks for your kind comment Wolfgang and have a nice weekend !!

    Simon

  • Great cover Simon.

It's sad that children lose their parents and end up alone.

But there are also millions of kids just abandened because they are not wanted. I have 5 adopted kids myself from that part of life.

They say that the children are our future, but how can that be if they don't have a future theirself ?

Thumbs up to all people who care and work in the child helping sector.

  • @AaronRockinYT Thanks Aaron; doing something is better than doing nothing !!

    God bless you friend

  • Great job with this song, and the message you are talking about is serious. I support your efforts to bring attention to this. Well done friend.

  • @elvidinck Thanks Mark. There is much wrong in this world but if everyone does something good it is perhaps better for the poor and vulnerable in society

  • Good song. I can relate to this. Not because I didn't have parents but yet,, I did have parents. A dysfunctional home with alcholism, cruelty and humility, So many of the children suffer, some for a life time because of this.

Thanks for posting.---Suffer the little children.....so sad, so uneccessary. I wish I had a big home so I could fill these'nobody's child' with love, kindness, hugs & kisses and bedtime stories and all that would fullfill the needs of a child. God bless them. & he will.
