Here is an introduction to playing the notes in the A blues scale. Some beginning blues licks afterwards. Be sure to rewind to learn the ones you like.

Blues Scale Tones: 1 b3 4 #4 5 b7
I remember the notes by thinking of a minor 7 chord shape with an extra 4 and #4th.

This scale will sound great with a blues song in C, for example "C jam blues by duke ellington. Most of the chords from the key of C will sound good as well. C Dm Em F G Am Bdim
