The Temptations first release with Motown in 1961 was on the short-lived Miracle label. Released on Miracle 5 "Oh Mother Of Mine" backed with "Romance Without Finance" was the first of two singles on the Miracle label. The Temptations recorded on the Gordy label thereafter.

@Ashia971 I agree. In the book, as told by Otis Williams, Paul seemed like a no-nonsense guy, who was very down-to-earth. According to Otis, Paul was not resistant when he had to leave the Tempts. He may have been disappointed, but Paul was ill. He encouraged the group to go on, but that he acted as consultant.
Seriously, if anyone knows different please share. But Paul seemed just lovable. I wish I was old enough to have a crush on him (LOL).
