86 years old and still going strong. I met him at a horror convention in 2005 and he was a total gentleman.

A movie which isn't for mass appeal isnt the same thing as "nobody likes it." Salo: 120 Days of Sodom is not for mass appeal, but some people like it. Do you only like movies made for mass appeal? The director of JDATE did a film called Bubba Hotep, which was not made for mass appeal but is popular with both critics and movie fans. Additionally, JDATE is based on an IMMENSELY popular book by a cracked writer. That counts for something. I am not worried if people like this movie--because some do.

Shakaama--it speaks volumes about you to assume there isn't an audience for this film. "When even the audience doesn't like the movie" is an unfair statement because it is so broad. This movie has a strong following and plenty of positive reviews. You are not the entirety of the audience.

this has to be the worst reviewers in the history of reviewers. do you even know about movies, how they're made and what works and doesn't in storytelling? This review was almost as painful to watch as the movie. And, the fact you actually liked the movie speaks volumes. When even the audience doesn't like the movie, you know something is wrong with your review.
