Video was taken when I had just swapped the motor into the car. Had intercooler piping leaks and holes in the intake hose, had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. Also had no exhaust, just a 3" pipe off the turbo. Sounds a lot more tame now with the exhaust fitted and idles smooth, though the cams still make it sound a bit savage

It doesn't have an exhaust in this vid. This motor is long gone anyway, car is now powered by a VR-4 motor

I had one of these but a 4 door 4WD, why didn't you just drop the whole VR motor in? thats what I did

Just posted a video response of how the car sounds now. Shitty camera though so it sounds a bit raspy, sounds alot better in real life.
