History:
Stepping into the future of modern software, Mortal Kombat leaves it's famous motion capturing behind, and moves on to 3D model generating and animation. Mortal Kombat 4 features new and classic playable characters, as well as a deadly arsenal of fatalitys. Mortal Kombat 4 was also taken on the road, with the famous "Mortal Kombat 4 Tour." Where MK trucks bearing the familiar dragon logo, drove across America, showing off, demonstrating, even giving out Mortal Kombat 4 arcade machines. Being as popular as it was, Mortal Kombat 4 also sparked debate. Being exposed to so much media, many parents of children were trying to sue the Mortal Kombat 4 Tour for exposing their young children to such gruesome violence. Of course many of these lawsuits were dropped, and this was also a big step to creating the modern video game rating system.
