Thanks dude...I feel personal options and god knows we all have them can be a distration...the footage itself speaks volumes on how the images broadcast to the nation where controlled and modified live by, in all possiblity, a very small number of people.

i'm not believing the "truth movement", but i gotta say, the music you've picked for these totally fit and are very poignant.... i also admire the comment back about the holocaust...at least your saying "bring it,..let's talk about it" and no venom behind it

@tovarco The fighter jets I was referring to were the jets scrambled too late from Langley AFB and from off Cape Cod. They arrived in NYC after the 2nd plane hit. Again, use Google and you can even find an interview with one of those pilots as well.

So far, we've got that the jets were too late (disappointing, but not surprising) and something about a mysterious camera (which isn't that mysterious to those who know how this stuff works).

What else you got because those are pretty weak.

It doesn't matter if they travel the speed of light because if they're not properly dispatched (which they obviously weren't that day) then they're not going to make it in time. Shocking as it may seem, the military wasn't exactly on 9/11 footing until after 9/11. The military was trained to stop enemy jets coming from overseas not our own domestic passenger aircraft. It's disappointing they didn't respond better, but it's hardly shocking.

@tovarco "What chopper was filming" All choppers in the air were filming. That includes all four local TV networks as well as NYPD's helicopter which was taking pictures. This stuff is all very easy to find if you know how to use Google. As far as who the camera men were, well, since there were at least four choppers in the air that day that means there were at least four different camera men. I've seen interviews w/ FOX's cameraman as well as the NYPD's photographer. Nothing interesting.

@notverycrucial Yes so where was this feed coming from? What chopper was filming? Who was shooting all of this? You know no one ever asks that. Who was the video exactly? Who was the camera man? Which network had this feed?

@tovarco Not sure exactly what you're asking but the dominant feed was coming from a local TV station (*no idea which one). The four local TV stations in New York all have sharing agreements with their national network counterparts (NBC News, CBS News, etc). The Cable Nets (CNN, FOX, etc) also have similar agreements.

Yes, I wish there were hundreds of 100s of cameras that day (see live shots from Baghdad in 1991 or 2003) but in Baghdad, we had time to prepare; this was a surprise.

@notverycrucial fair enough. So then where were the other feeds? This is NY - one of the largest media centers in the US if not on the planet. Your telling us you dont find it strange that not one other if no a dozen other camera angles could not be set-up by these 4 networks in NY city? And again where was this one feed coming from. You obv have experience in the industry.

@tovarco I've heard many people comment on the fact that there is occasionally only one feed for all the networks, but it's a common occurrence in broadcasting. Happens all the time for news events.

As far as news helicopters flying around the scene before fighter pilots arrived, that's not surprising considering those news stations were located only a few blocks from the WTC...those fighter jets were called in from Virginia and Massachusetts. There is no air force base in Manhattan.
