  • The spray painted #2 is CLASSIC - funny story, our AMAZING sponsor Zebra had a company print custom table wraps and they printed everyone with a #1, all 12 of them! My father went to Home Depot and bought 6 cans of quick dry paint (BLACK) and 4 cans of white...we were OLD SCHOOL back in the day!

  • of course its a sweep, ryan pulled guard and was on the bottom and they other guy decideed to pull gaurd after, ryan went from the bottom to the top lol funny

  • its written that way in CBJJ rules. Should the ref not award points despite them being firmly stated and instead rely on his own discretion? No. Thats not fair. People would start arguing they werent swept, they chose to take the bottom position every time they were scored against. If you don't understand the rules, dont compete, and definitely dont have the nerve to argue about it.

  • the rules need a serious revision- this is grappling, not a sitting down contest

  • lmao you can tell those 2 points pissed off Nolan so much - "WHAT?!"

  • "Controlling" the wrist is not alone for a takedown. Did the ref think Ryan pulled off an awesome bit of Aikido on him?

If he did, why couldn't Dutcher have bee going for a flying wrist lock?!

  • I read the comments before watching the video and thought it was going to be nothing like it was. Of course. I was flabbergasted that *that* was the so-called sweep. Of course. If Dutcher had pretended to go for a footlock it wouldn't have cost him points.

Its obviously not a sweep. You're all just trying to find ways to justify nonsense in an Emperor's New Clothes kind of way.

From standing, you'd have to hold a leg. It's to stop the denial of single leg takedowns by pulling guard.

  • Ryan hall is just plain brilliant. I love his moves , they just flow and he is so fluid.

  • TROLLFACE REFEREE!!!

  • Everyone knows that GQ is very bias to "certain" competitors...

  • @frostedkittenz The question I am looking at is not id Nolan was submitted, but if Ryan earned those two points. He did not.

Further, knowing the reffing is shit and slanted towards your opponent has to do something to your mindset. Not saying Nolan might have pulled it out anyway, but he may have kept calmer and won.

  • @TheScamr idt any of that matters if you get submitted.
