Rio Grande narrow gauge action galore. Starts with footage in 1957 including a ride to Silverton, and #464 switching in Durango. Then several trips back to the area in the 1960's with lots of freight train footage between Durango and Alamosa, plus some runs on the Silverton, and even a hike-in shot across the bridge and across the gorge for a great view. See remote areas around Navajo on the Durango to Chama side, and of course Cumbres pass with helpers. Perry Becker shot the 16mm film. Copyright Greg Scholl Video Productions.
