Golden age of TV cartoons: Danguard Ace, MGM Tom & Jerry, WB, Hanna Barbara, Gai King Starblazers, Spacekeeteers, Banana Splits... That is when life was pure. Makes me want to grab a bowl of fruity peebles.

I first saw this intro on a OLD Gumby VHS...

I miss that, I remember watching some episodes back in the day, anyone know where I can find the series, in English preferably

@adon78 at least once you knew about Monkey, it made more sense why Jesse Dart had a staff!
-
@chrisgoguen i take it you guys mean they were cyborgs (half man and half machine)!?

@leslielove she was a cunt!

Actually Jesse is a Cyborg, they even say so on the show. That is the definition of Cyborg.. short for Cybernetic Organism

Awesome show,... my favorite of the Force Five lineup!
I used to watch this in high school in Boston in the early 80s. I used to think Jesse Dart was sooooo cool,... who didn't want one of those astro-bats.

There always has to be a fat guy to make fun of in all these cartoons!
They weren't actually androids, they Jesse was blasted with some atomic power enhancer (like Wolverine) so he could have the power of a hundred men. The fat guy was the lone defender of his mud planet, he mastered drilling through any kind of rock. The thin guy is from the water planet, the most intelligent among the three, he works well with any kind of liquid. FYI.

Actually Jesse Dart was the only android (half android actually). The others were just good at what they did from where they came from and joined along the way. Jesse was picked because he passed all the tests and made him half human/half Android. Thanks for the comment!!!

I remember this on Force Five on channel 25 in Boston. I love the ending theme, could you post that please or send it to my e-mail. It seems like they're crying at the end or thinking of something. I don't know who was more annoying Jesse Dart saying "Jesse Dart" or Orion Quest saying "Grandizer Go" or "Spin Drill". Classic, I love Force Five. Thanks for posting.

Yes, I watched it on Channel 25 too!! Memories are resufacing!! Grandizer Go was more annoying. Jesse Dart was cool.

This was another instance where the production company took certain episodes and made them into one hard to follow movie. It aired on Showtime in the early 80's as part of their Carousel time shows. I still have the entire movie on VHS when my father had a black box for the cable way back when.

For me it was part of the "Force Five" series that played on TV on a regular channel. It played on Wednesdays weekly and I had to watch some of the other cartoons (Gaiking, Danguard Ace, and another show). It was great and I was sad when they ended as I loved Jesse Dart. I put together my own Astro Bat but all I could do was beat up my brothers....no growing or firing beams from it!!! LOL
