man when i saw them early last year we had a much better crowd than this, absolutly flawless gig and the pits just destroyed me especially when flying whales played XD

This is not a mosh pit, this is just a simple pogo. I think you never saw any mosh pit or pogo to not recognize a pogo :).
Mosh pit is more violent than that. It looks like a mosh pit because there is not a lot of people in the pogo.
