Arrival of the nighttrain Stockholm-Narvik at Gallivare railway station, summer 2009

The d*mn thing was 40 minutes late and made me almost miss my connecting Stockholm-bound flight in Kiruna, which forced me to take a cab there instead of the bus to the airport - 10 minutes cab-ride for 350 Kr or some 37 Euros - about $50. These guys know how to make money... Back to the train though; you can catch one only twice a day at Gallivare, and even then the carriage I sat in was almost empty. The sleeper-cars were probably better occupied. Gallivare is where I arrived a few days earlier by Inlandsbanan.
