@jacobtc that can handle 16 LEDs, though a simpler (and cheaper!) method would be something like "Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories Cylon" (google that)

Oh my, this is exactly the thing I wan't to make! how many LED's can be controlled by the TLC5940? I wan't to make a Knight Rider scrolling LED strip for the front of my PC :D
