For the month of July, I will have several paintings on display at Open Gallery, Toronto.
Several pieces from my 'Urban Landscapes' series, along with pieces from 'The Body Room' will be on display.
My Urban Landscape series focuses on the buzz and energy of city life, where billboards, neon signs, streetlights and storefronts all scream for attention simultaneously. As a result of the constant over-stimulation, I find myself tuning out more and more; my surroundings become a background blur of abstract colour and form.
The Body Room series aims to capture the feelings of a creepy, run down basement.
Special thanks to Open Architects, who graciously invited me to be the first artist to show in their new gallery space, and who have been a tremendous help with organizing and setup.

The Gallery is about a 10 minute walk from 'Main Street' subway station, or take the 502 Queen East streetcar and get off at Waverley.
