Matthew Lennon is a 25yr old singer songwriter from Leixlip co. Kildare. He has been playing and writing his own music since he was 19 and is currently attending the ballyfermot school of rock which in the past has produced such musical talent as Damien Dempsey, Mundy, Ross Breen and Fiach.
A carpenter by trade he has spent the past four years on various building sites around Dublin hammering nails into bits of wood and wishing he was somewhere else. In the past 5 years he has built up an extensive library of songs some with a strong social and political content, others about getting blind drunk and falling on your arse.
He can currently be found playing around Dublin at the various open mic nights, scabbin pints because hes broke.
