@kalli040 works good til the fish are being stubborn and you wanna put some roe in the egg loop. thats the only difference. if you never have to resort to adding eggs to your yarn rig dont tie it this way unless you wanna be prepared just in case

just tying a snell knot works as well, this might be a little more secure but seems a little slow for me

thanks for the post! Was using the single eggloop for the yarn before i seen this ! Seem alot more secure. New to river fishing would you use a corkie for boyancy also?

@DOGBISCUTS You could use a corkie but many will drift under a bobber or float. Some would also add an 8mm or 10mm bead in front of the yarnie. Good luck and send pics.
