SPOILERS !!!!!

This slasher movie was released in 1986. It was directed by Fred Walton.

It's April Fools weekend. A group of young adults venture out to this remote island to hang out in their friend, Muffy's, mansion. They have diner and party. One by one the friends start to go missing. They find decapitated heads in the water well. They start pointing fingers at each other.

For a slasher movie, this flick was really really tame. It didn't really have any tense moments. No real suspense. It didn't have any new tricks or gimmicks to add to the genre. Very standard and cliche. The ending was lackluster.

Lots of folks like this movie, but it didn't do anything for me. I found it very uninteresting. I thought the 80's factor might make it slightly enjoyable, but nope.

2/5

  • Sounds pretty stock to me, makes me want to kill all of them..... did you just say Muffy? Ha ha ha! Anyways, the movie seems pretty weak, but expecting godly things from slasher movies is asking a lot I guess. But from what you say this barely even sounds like a slasher movie.

  • Yeah, it made me want to watch them actually die at least. This movie was really uninteresting to me. All I expect slasher movies to be is at least a little bit fun and entertaining. This movie just flopped for me. Yawn fest.
