What I really loved about the raptors in the films was that while the big dinosaurs like the T-Rex could bring a level of thrill and fear, nothing could match the mounting horror and tension of seeing the raptors stalk and move in on their targets. While the T-Rex inspires awe with its sheer size and power, the velociraptors stalking the two kids in the kitchen was by far the most terrifying moment in all the films, more so than the T-Rex poking its head into the tent.

I want one as a pet but in all honesty even if it was house trained, I've managed to turn a canary into a vicious human hating creature... imagine what I could do with a raptor

Gotta love Jurassic Park's version of the raptors! You can tell there's alot going on behind those eyes.
And you have to wonder if those real-life, 3'-by-6' raptors were this cunning.
