Jonas Valanciunas' Post Defense vs. Serge Ibaka

Video extracted from Spain's win over Lithuania in the Madrid Arena on Saturday, August the 13th in an exhibition game in preparation for the 2011 EuroBasket.

Jonas Valanciunas was the fifth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors and some are skeptical of the selection.

Against a more athletic post scorer in Serge Ibaka, Valanciunas didn't impress as much.

Besides allowing deep post position again, Jonas struggled to keep pace with Ibaka's finesse moves. He still showed the ability to recover, though, always challenging Serge for space below the rim (although in the second clip, it was irrelevant).
