Most of you stole Photoshop anyway, so instead of doing this in Photoshop, download Cinema 4D and make it look 100 times better.

That's a big no-no in Photoshop tutorials for beginners, they tend to get overwhelmed by that. One should only teach the main shortcuts.

@EpicWhomp Err, I know about layers. When I make the shape it doesn't create a new layer with the shape nor it draws on a layer. I just used the selection tool and achieved the same effects anyway.

@MoonishDesire Make sure you click on the particular shape's layer. You may be changing the color of a seperate, hidden layer. Layers are very important.

@IceflowStudios Why don't my shapes behave like yours? They always stay like gray lines and they never fill up with the color I select.
