  • wow

    never heard that one

    who's the drapery drawing by?

  • It's a Vinci cloth study.

  • Starts with pure barroque tone and melody but ends with some kind of tune that reminds me more of the Renaisance than the Barroque.

A truly masterpiece of Antonio Vivaldi.

    Bravo.

  • Hmmm. That's interesting... because I don't get that Renaissance vibe at all.

chi mi puó dare informazioni sul concerto tenuto a Roma nel 2008 ma con altri interpreti ? Grazie

  • @1992dsy Lol if they played this in churches nowadays I'd surely go to it more often than I go to discos and bars.

  • @XVLaHireXV

I believe its in the Louvre, Paris (Cabinet des dessins)

  • I don t reale belive that this is VIvaldi, is seams moree Bach! Is strange!

  • @HARMONICO101 I can kinda of see where the renaisance vibe is coming from, the singing etc. But is definately baroque!

  • Oops--sopranos get a wee tad flattish at times, argh.

  • @93N39 - yes, you're right but I faved them in the first place to come back and take a joy ride when I am working .... so I have those many holes in the rich fabric of my best loved compos... thank you for replying!

  • @kikivolauvent Some of my favorites disappeared too, but I later found different versions of the same, using the search feature.
