This won't work in the USA today. As soon as you try to attempt someone will scream, the police will show up in 3 seconds and would empty the entire clip on you. then turn around and say "Just another wanna be wise guy"

no need for a big drama queen moment. just walk in with a disguise. quietly demand the money and walk out. success rate is much higher and no one gets hurt you lazy dead beats.

@davelaye yes it is, his name is takeshi kitano, when he's doing this hard-ass character he goes by the stage name of beat takeshi. look him up on imdb for some of his other great films.

@richie2910 it did work, this scene is based off of an incident that actually happened in 1968 where a single person on a motorcycle dressed as a policeman robbed a bank truck carrying 3oku en or a current equivalent of about 3 million dollars in cash (that's in 1968 money so with inflation its actual value is quite a lot higher, probably closer to 300,000,000 dollars). the robber was never caught.
