This is a lesson on how to play How He Loves with a Travis picking style to carry the melody. Great to use this for more dynamics when playing it by yourself. If briefly touch on travis picking in this video. If you are unfamiliar with it I recommend finding another video on that style of picking then come back to this one. I would recommend learning Dust In The Wind by Kansas if you want to learn Travis Picking.

Hey bro . my intention is not to pick the mistakes . I THINK THIS WOULD HELP OTHERS IN PLAYING MORE BETTER WAY .

Everything was good but u missed at one point . While strumming in last ie G chord ,

the way the is lifted is quite different from the normal one . Observe it and it might help :)

@89davidrobertable yea sorry... i am sometimes inconsistent with the exact fingering of some chords - G being one of those.

@57calier i am basically applying a picking style called travis picking technique to the chord progression while emphasizing the melody. i would search for "travis picking lesson" and learn the technique there and then apply it to the song

Whos version are you playing? I usually play the Jesus Culture (Kim Walker) version

@melvincoleguitar07 the chord progression and melody is the same as far as i know. this one is specifically done with crowders version in mind

@ibassforhim Not quite getting your picking and the timing of the piece either. It doesn't seem to be like regular Travis Picking. How would it look with the melody incorporated in the chord progression? I'm quite the newbie, so every little bit helps. =)
