Is circumcision damaging? A part that should be there isn't there anymore, that in itself is pretty "damaging". As far as sex goes, my friends used to speak of how great the "banjo string" felt when stimulated. Considering mine was destroyed when I was 4 months old, I can only take their word for it, but all other things being equal, it hardly requires a large leap

On another note, anti-circumcision seems to be going mainstream. I've been hearing people make well-founded arguments against it in the most unlikely of places - at work, playing games on yahoo, the dailymail.

People are waking up. In 2010 rates dropped to nearly %30 of the male population and continue to drop.

But now there is the problem of circumcised men realizing they've been harmed, and having to deal with the trauma. :-(

Do you realize how strange it sounds to defend the religious right/rite to ritualistically cut up your baby's genitalia? Is it your religious right to pay strangers to take sharp things to your children? Is this really the kind of world that we want for ourselves?
