i'm just blown away w/ all these talents! here's my glass raised way up high to all Nhac Tre Viet singers from that generation! 2bad i wasn't around yet, because I would have loved to be part of your audience then! It's amazing how well all of u could sing in English. Hate 2 say it, but it's rather pathetic how so many Viet singers today in my generation or younger can't sing in English worth SHIT even though they live here in the U.S. So here's another raised glass to everyone of u!!!

Watching this tribute to all of the great talents that truly shined in the "nhac tre"/ popular music scene back in Saigon prior to '75 really puts me in total awe. Such incredible talents!!! No wonder, most of the singers that we see featured in this documentary video clip were able to have such enduring, long-lasting careers as performers, i.e. Khanh Ha, Julie, Duy Quang, Thai Hien... Only a select few who are really gifted & blessed with such raw talents such as these artists we see here.

Nói thật , tui cảm thấy nhạc ở thời kỳ này quá hay , nghe xong thì nhớ mãi dù qua bao nhiêu năm , nó hiện hữu gần như mỗi ngày trên đất nước này , hát có hồn , lời nhạc thì hiền hòa dễ thương , hát tiếng anh thì rất chuẩn , còn nhạc bây giờ xin lỗi nếu không mún nói nghe xong thì quên , như 1 ổ bánh mỳ ăn xong thì thôi , lời nhạc thì không biết đang muốn nói về cái gì ????
