    Thanks for viewing our video. When talking about different species, "fishes" is the appropriate and correct term to use. For example a bucket with catfish, bass, and minnows would be referred to as a bucket of fishes. However, if that bucket contained just largemouth bass, it would be correct to refer to it as a bucket of fish. See The Diversity of Fishes: Biology, Evolution, and Ecology by Gene Helfman, Bruce B.
