Yes they do this alot in Vietnam. I have been invited to drink rice wine many times. It is powerful stuff. I think I came close to alcohol poisening once. Drank a little too much I guess. LOL

@lucirz the bad thing about vietnam is when they invite you to eat, they are too pushy. like even if you are full or drunk, they'll be like "here have more". and it's kinda rude not to have more. and so it just spirals down from there lol. but you got out of it :D

vietnam is .like that. those middle/old guys are crazy. you just talk to them and they'll invite you to eat and drink and shit. i love it when westerners think they can outdrink vietnamese people in vietnam lmao. they go there and get there ass whopped by an old man, it happens alot. those old man fucking drink some strong ass homemade liquor and it's like nothing to them

People there are friendly, I can see that they treat you by their hearts. I'm glad that you can find the true value in this country.
