can i use this on a pc with a 1200 watt power source?
-
@tardspotter that does not even make any sense lol what are you 5 or something?
-
@grobylev you only need SmartUPS if your a total faggot with a very high powered dildo for your ass.
-
@NYClacrosse ah yes, I see, well if you continue using a high powered illuminated dildo for your dumbass, you would have to be concerned about sine vs. square waves. You should have known this as an obvious faggot. So to summarize, use your dildo for your ass without connecting it to the backup supply, try a battery powered one or maybe straight into the mains. Have a good day my fine feathered queer.

This APC UPS is one of the worst.... If someone think about protection, at least a SmartUPS is required...

@grobylev that's your opinion dude, I've been using an ES series since 2003 with no problems besides normal battery replacements. What specific examples can you list that suggests this unit is bad ?
The only thing I can think of is the modified sine wave output, which will work fine with a normal PSU like mine.......If your looking for a ups for a gaming rig, you shouldn't even be looking at a sub $100 ups.

please tell me that you are not using that for a pc :( that model produces square waves instead of sine waves, and square waves will kill your power supply very quickly, you can pick up a decent sine wave ups on ebay, but make sure it has new batteries, if not you run the chance on getting a steal for a seemingly perfect ups, yet its batteries are useless

@NYClacrosse Yep, it's connected to my desktop and monitor......I don't have an expensive gaming rig with an active PFC power supply, so I'm not worried. The only reason I didn't go pure sine is the replacement battery cost.....This takes only $20 (single 8 ah 12 volt cell) vs over $100 (multiple 20 ah cells wired in series for 24 volts) with pure sine ups systems.
After around 8 power cuts since I bought this ups, everything is still working perfectly
Thanks for stopping by :)

I have 2pcs battery car which is 12v each, then is this possible that i can replace my ups battery into car battery? thanks

@circles122345 You can, but the results wouldn't be as good as you would think. The problem is that a regular flooded car battery gives off slightly less voltage than a standard ups battery. Standard ups batteries have the AGM technology which allows them to be deep cycled an hold a slightly higher voltage. You would need to buy an expensive AGM car battery (optima spiral cell) to get the ups to run for just about 3 - 4 hours. A regular car battery will run between 40 min - 1 1/2 hours.
