  • Beautiful rich tones and clarity in Gary's voice.

I've enjoyed revisiting many of the songs from my youth... Gary and The Gap performed some of my favorites!

  • this is got to be the most beautiful version of this jimmy webb masterpiece.all the years growing up i always said nobody could sing this better than glen campbell.well in the last couple of years i have discovered gary puckett.i now say this is garys song.its very close both guys can sing the hell out of it.but after listening over and over it goes to gary puckett.he deserves more reconition than he gets for this beautiful song.

  • I literally love this man's voice. He is a truly gifted man. I hope he reads these comments and realizes how cheated the public was as he didn't get the credit he deserved and we didn't get to hear from him as much through the years. The political environment of the industry cheats a lot of talent right out of business. Thank you, Gary, for sharing your talent.

  • Im not a young person and I get emotional these days, this brings my pastback

  • Always liked the Union Gap. During the late 1960s, when I was in my late boyhood (born in 1959), we heard the UG almost continually on AM-radio. And GP was a fine singer -- one of the best American pop voices back then, well-used and buttressed by his interpretative sensitivity. I love Glen Campbell's version of this lovely song, for example. But I find GP's rendition even more moving:) --

  • she may have been an argumentative bitch, an a out an out bully, who has been told time and time again but so stubburn she just cant see it

  • @aitkensd You have my empathy. It was songs like this which expressed the seriousness of marriage commitment to me when I was young. Over 41 years there were serious ups and downs but we each refused to let go.

Over the years I have seen many men do weak and cowardly things. Sorry that you did not get a husband with strong character.

  • Sure could sing. Nice voice.

  • His voice sounds mature beyond his years (he was only about 25 when he sang "Woman"), other band members only 21 or so. He has such a great voice, nothing like the quality of that era around these days, at least not here in USA that I hear. There must be talent around, but alas the hip hop culture and I guess now there is nothing like the phenomenon of radio was at the time as a hitmaker.

  • How can it be done any better. Gary is one of the most underrated singers of our time. Thanks for posting!

  • A great rendition. I did not know Gary P was so masterful
