My daughter has M.S. and is working hard to keep herself well, her family, and all of those w/ this disease. I pray for a cure. I'm learning so much.

Keep learning! And check out the National MS Society, they are a fantastic organization. I am so glad to hear that you are being so supportive, there is nothing like a mother's love to help someone through a rough situation. It sounds like she is doing all the right things, good luck!

Very funny intro. By the way, it is actually known that the symptoms of multiple sclerosis are caused by demylination. Without their myelin sheaths the,neuron's transmission delays increase. These delays are either directly or indirectly responsible for most of the symptoms of MS. You are correct though that the cause of the demylenation is not well understood.

Ha ha, I actually knew all that, my father has MS. I just wanted to give the quick and easy version here to make it easier for people. Thanks for being so thorough though, I'm glad to find someone else who understands the disease!
