The box bellows deliver a large air flow at a good pressure which makes them very useful for providing the air to a charcoal furnace or a small forge.
These japanese style?? box bellows were made according to the steps shown here http://www.twinoaksforge.com/BLADSMITHING/BOX%20BELLOWS.HTM and here http://www.anvilfire.com/bookrev/kapp/oriental_box_bellows.htm but do not follow the exact measurements specified on the websites.
