The odds were stacked against this 1986 Holden Jackaroo: an engine with almost 400,000kms clocked on it, highway 'slick' tyres, a rookie 4WD driver and a 'difficult' vertical and rocky 4WD trail. Victoria, Australia

i hav a 1986 Jackaroo and its awesome! lol

  • I admit I said it "wouldn't make it" and after waiting nearly half an hour for it to get up the track that only took us 10 minutes no wonder!

But I agree it was great to see it make it to the top.

Is the diff still working? Or has it been replaced?

  • from henceforth that hill became known as the "ant-agoniser"

hmmm no mention of the fatally injured diff. though.

  • GO THE JACK
