@crazymanjonchin I feel you. I am from Seattle. I have met few of the local artists and they are amazing people. I don't think many of them actually want the national recognition as they want to speak what they want to speak about and not have the corporate America hinder their freedom of speech... They know that they will always fill up venues throughout the US as they have great following thanks to the Internet. Look at Blue Scholars they always booked in Seattle and West Coast.
