Look, this is to everyone who has read the comments and is still confused:
OnLive's main audiences are people who can't afford high-end PCs, and people who don't like to wait to play and don't mind NOT owning the games you buy. That's basically it. It's also (like Steam) designed so that Mac users can enjoy PC games without having to move out of the comfort zone of their Macs. I hope this has helped!

@mardinn92 Any type of software or service that requires you to be in a specific area can be played anywhere.
Nearly all services, no matter what vicinity you need to be in, can be accessed through a good proxy.
Of course, you will have performance issues, especially with OnLive.
