An effort that took about a month of mostly solo construction (and an awful lot of resource gathering), Plate City is my latest creation and probably the one I am most proud of. I started with a massive plate connecting to the great bridge (which you may have seen in my prior videos), then decided to have a multi-layered "city". One plate became three. The initially disconnected plates eventually got connecting rail lines that would carry me wherever I needed to go. The hall on the top plate was the first proper building to go up, then I followed up with several smaller buildings in the plates below. For those attentive enough, you can catch glimpses of my friend Angeloopy's recreation of the "Lucky 38" from Fallout New Vegas, as well as his recently added garden area around the river side.
I'd like to give a shout out to Tiyuri, who kindly allowed me to use one of his untitled piano tracks in the start of this video. Tiyuri is a hugely talented game developer who is most recognized for his work on the excellent Hedgewars and, more significantly, the critically-praised "2D Minecraft" Terraria, which if you haven't played it yet, I strongly urge you to check it out. It's a great buy at $10!
@StalePhish That's pretty cool, I appreciate the viewership. Time and interest in working on Hedgewars quite got away from me I'm afraid, though I am lined up for another project in the near future. :)

@Armagon I started watching your videos a couple years ago during college because all my friends were huge Hedgewars addicts. So you were perhaps the first place I even heard of Minecraft too!

@StalePhish That's kind of you to say, though there are hundreds of projects out there more impressive than mine. Still I'm glad you were able to discover what makes Minecraft special. :)

You were one of my inspirations for starting to play Minecraft, and now I got a few of my friends playing and host my own SMP server! :)
