@soccerchik1989 I am sorry but he totally threw it. He sang the songs he WANTED to sing regardless of the outcome, NOT the songs he should have sang to win it. He won because he is a better all around performer and he connected well through the camera.

" standing in his truth" means that he was doing exactly what he was born to do. Cook didn't throw it, he sang his butt off that night and he was amazing on the finale. Don't get me wrong Archie was good too but David was much better and Cook beat Archie by a lot. Cook has had a much better career than Archie too. Just saying I know season 7 was like forever ago but just making a point. Thanks.
