Genius!

Did no-one think to tell him that his baseball bat was on fire?
-
@MsShowdog I was near the front, me, my younger brother and my best mate just looked at each other when he was playing, and couldn't help thinking wtf is this? We may be too young to remember Jesse Rae but I agree with you the man didn't sing a note in tune.
-
@TheLizardmonkey Rae wrote 'Inside Out' and many other 197Os and 198Os soul funk songs that were rerecorded by American soul bands. Listen to some of his other things on YouTube and I think you'll reevaluate!
-
@MsShowdog lovely...
-
It was not a handful of idiots it was the majority of sane audience members. I was at the back and most people were booing from there too. It's no wonder he keeps his face covered. It was painful to listen to it was so bad. If he had sang any single note in tune it still would have been apalling.

Jesse was magnificent at the Adam Ant gig in Glasgow last night! Pure brilliance - booed by a handful of idiots n the middle of the crowd who had no clue as to the importance of Jesse as a cultural figure in Scotland or internationally as a songwirter.

@AryanScot they are not the same. Celts are by definition not Germanic. They're a separate and distinct group. You can say that they're Germanic all you like, but it won't be true. They were distinct at the time of Julius Caesar, and they're distinct now. Even "racially" (discredited term with no scientific basis) they're not the same. Indo-European is the umbrella term.
-
@blackmichael75 Racially, Celts and 'Germans' are the same. You need to look at Hallstatt and La Tene to see why Celticism is a DIVISION of Germanicism. Celts USED RUNIC SYMBOLS. Are you going to attempt to tell me now that runes are not Germanic? German and Germanic are two different terms. Germany, Britain, Scandanavia, Holland, Belgium, Northern France, White Russia are GERMANIC.
Aryan is the simply the orginal term for Indo-Germanic. (which Celts were a part of)
-
@AryanScot nah they aren't. They're similar but they're different. I hate to taxonomise like this but these are important distinctions. How many times do I have to say it, Celts are NOT Germanic. I don't know where you're getting that from. It's nonsense. Germans are Germans and Celts are Celts.
And by the way, "Aryan" as a term fell out of use a long time ago, mainly cos it was used by the Nazis. What exactly are you trying to prove with this pish?

Let's start a 'let's have more Jesse Rae airplay' campaign! Good stuff Jesse. Timeless!!
