Well the same thing can be said if there no hardcore punk bands like The Misfits or Sex Pistols, or if there was no wave of british heavy metal. Mustaine can't be given ALL the credit. Slayer no doubt wanted to sound different from the GLAM scene (especially after the little Dragonslayer incident) and Overkill was already around. Not to mention the fact that Sadus was planning to be insanely fast and with sheer brutality. You can suck his dick all you want, but it doesn't mean he's the only one.
