Nick & Sharon 8-28-09 Part 1

Nick admits to Phyllis that he went to Sharons hospital and Phyllis admits to him that she saw him there. Meanwhile, Dr. Braun warns Sharon that she needs to be more proactive in her therapy otherwise the judge can put her jail. As Nick and Phyllis are running around trying to get ready to leave in time for Phyllis and Summers flight to Switzerland in the morning, Noah arrives to talk to Nick about transferring schools. Nick agrees to go see Sharon to discuss it with her first. Meanwhile, Sharon admits to Doris that Nick is father of her baby. Nick overhears.

I am sooo sick and tired of Phyllis....and Nick...Gosh this man has become fuckin boring.

The writers have already written Sharon acknowledging that. She knows what she did, the problem is she's blaming herself for things she couldn't control. She blames herself for her mother's accident, Cassie's accident, Brad's death, and pretty much everything. It's the guilt of that that's driving her crazy and she punishes herself because of it. Let's get down to the real deep issues writers.

Sharon always blames herself for Doris being in that wheelchair, but it's not all her fault, it's also Frank Barritt's. Frank talked Sharon into having sex with him, so they went off one night to do it. While they were doing it, Doris(who knew what they were up to) was out looking for them but got in a car accident and permantly lost the use of her legs.

But of course, on the positive side, that was also the night that Frank and Sharon conceived Cassie.

That may be true, but the majority of the fans don't want Nick and Phyllis to seperate. SoapInDepth has had many voting polls since 2006 asking the fans to vote on who they want Nick with: Sharon or Phyllis? And the winner has always been Phyllis.

When Sharon was pregnant with Faith, they asked the fans to vote on who the father should be and the results were,

Jack: 73%

Billy: 24%

Nick: 3%

More wanted Jack to be the father than Nick, but Y&R wanted Cassie's prediction to come true.

At least with Sharon he respected her enough to let it happen spontaneously. He had respect for her. Nick and Phyllis came together with having an affair.
